Clonduff Kids in Croke Park
Wednesday 16th August was an early start for most of these youngsters for the Down Juvenile Activity Day in Croke Park! They had to be assembled behind the Cusack Stand at 8.30am. (One of the participants though had been on holidays in Wicklow and travelled into Dublin last night and stayed in the luxury of The Croke Park Hotel so their start was not just as early!)
Down coaches Connor O’Toole, Mark Poland and Ambrose Rodgers were the on-pitch organisers. The Clonduff kids were teamed up with Clann na Banna for their game time and they played against Castlewellan/Carryduff. Each group got 30 mins playing time and then enjoyed watching the other groups for the rest of the session.
Following their snack they had a short tour of the changing rooms and the warm-up area and left the complex at 12.30.
These five children certainly enjoyed every moment of their day!
