For the Clonduff players it was a great club and family experience; to have seven players and the manager involved is a great honour and a massive congratulation goes to Karen & Paula Gribben, Fionnuala & Sara Louise Carr, Lisa McPolin, Nicola O’Hagan and Clare & Alastair McGilligan. Celebrations continued at the Canal Court Hotel on Sunday night and the team went on a whistle stop tour of many of the Clubs on their way to Portaferry on Monday night, stopping in Ballyholland, Mayobridge, Hilltown, Castlewellan, Liatroim and finally Portaferry – these pictures were taken in Hilltown Square.
The Camogie committee would like to publicly thank Brendan Murray and Paddy Mackin for organising the ‘welcome home’ on Monday evening; to Martin Lynch, Leo Bloomfield and John Wilson for putting up the bunting during the week and to Kieran Tumilty and Dermot Fitzpatrick for making and erecting the signs throughout the village.
