Massive congratulations to Down U20s, managed by Conor Laverty, secured the Ulster title with an extra-time win over Monaghan in the Athletic Grounds, Armagh on Friday 30th July.

Clonduff Players Tom Close and Eamon Brown were pivotal in this superb achievement. Paudie Clancy was also part of the panel but had suffered a major hamstring injury earlier in the season.
The Ulster Final should have been played a week earlier but was postponed due to the death, in a car accident on his way home from their semi final, of the Monaghan captain Brendan Óg Duffy. May he rest in peace and God comfort his family.
Roscommon beat Down in the All Ireland Semi Final the following week.
