EDDIE McPARLAN INDUCTED INTO CLONDUFF HALL OF FAME 2011

At the Annual Awards for 2011, Eddie McParlan, a stalwart of Gaelic Football in the 1950s and 1960s was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Eddie, one of three Eddie’s on the Cabra Harps (or officially the Clonduff Harps) won the Junior Championship in 1956 following the setting up of the Harps team based in Cabra by beating Warrenpoint. The Harps and The Shamrocks (Hilltown based team) met in the Senior Championship final in 1957 with the Shamrocks emerging winners. The two teams re-amalgamated the following year.
