U12 Co Champ and Ulster Finalist Therese Cowan
Clonduff are the proud holders of eight (8) County Juvenile Handball titles in 2020 albeit the only one they contested was the U12 Singles which Therese Cowan won. There was no competition for Anna Rose Carvill/Caoimhe McConville (U12 Doubles), Hannah Shields (U13 Singles), Clodagh Kelly (U14 Singles), Blaithin Shields (U15 Singles), Ellen Shields (U16 Singles), Ella McCumiskey/Orlaith McCusker (U17 Doubles) and Patrick Cowan (U17 Singles). They all went directly to the Ulster Championships where Therese and Ellen reached their respective finals (will update later); Clodagh, Blaithin and Patrick all reached their semi finals ; Anna Rose/Caoimhe, Hannah, and Ella/Orlaith bowed out in the quarter finals.
Clonduff is making a big effort with Juvenile Handball mainly thanks to the effort of Colin Shields and Sean Cowan – our girls in particular would benefit with more competition within the county. Well done to all, you represented your Club and your county with distinction! Many thanks to Colin and Sean for ensuring that you do!
