Campa Chormaíc 2009 – The first Campa Chormaíc to be organised outside Tyrone took place in Castlewellan (St Malachy’s School) from Monday 13th to Friday 17th July for boys and girls aged 10 – 14 years. In the mornings the young people had Irish Classes and in the afternoons they honed their skills of Football and Hurling/Camogie.
Congratulation to Cassie Fitzpatrick who was chosen as the most impressive girl in her group.
Pictured above is the Clonduff contingent, the biggest representation from any club in Down, who attended attired in their distinctive jerseys. They all agreed it was a magnificent week despite the weather.
