Saturday 8th October 2011 – Clonduff U16 boys played host to the Carlow Co Champions, Tinryland in the first game on the new pitch. Tinryland were on a end-of-season trip to The Mournes and had asked the Down Co Board if a Challenge Game could be arranged – Clonduff were asked and Clonduff obliged. After the game both teams were treated to food and refreshments in the Clonduff Clubrooms courtesy of Down Co Board.
