And that’s a wrap!
What a fantastic weekend we have just had! The 2024 Friends of Clonduff – Clonduff Carnival has been another huge success!
The big weekend event began on Thursday 11th July with the Clonduff Style Family Fortunes, Matt McGinn & Band followed by Disco King. It was a night of laughter & fun for everyone The Fork Hunts (aka The Trainor Bros) taking the bragging rights.
On Friday 12th July, we hosted the Mumford Experience, Michael Maloney followed by Mini Mac – the venue was rocking with such a buzz!
On Saturday afternoon we hosted the ‘Tailteann Cup’ Final live on the big screen and by Saturday night it was time for the ‘Tailteann Cup After Party’ with DJ Ronan Barry, Wolfhound Experience & All Folk’d Up – the night was absolutely amazing.
The 4th & FINAL NIGHT of the Carnival weekend saw DJ Magiggs host the Boley Bingo, followed by Stephen Rafferty & his band! It was a fantastic event to finish off an excellent 4-day festival.
It was an absolutely brilliant weekend, but it would not have been possible without the army of volunteers who helped before, during and after the events. Special thanks to event coordinator Bernard Branagan, and his team – Shauna, and Jayme Carvill, Ross Carr, Kathy, Fiona, Dermot, Anthony & Aoife for all their hard work behind the scenes for many months.
hank you to everyone, including those who worked in the: Ticket office,Bar & Floor Support, Burger stall, Car Parking & Stewarding, Clean ups, First Aid. There were so many people who helped at the events, it would be impossible to cover everyone but we sincerely THANK YOU for your time and support.
