The Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs Conference 2023, took place on Saturday 18th November in Croke Park, to celebrate the impact of this pioneering programme as it marks its 10th anniversary.
The conference featured insights and success stories from clubs that have been part of the Healthy Clubs programme since its inception, along with contributions from some very special guests, including GAA president Larry McCarthy and Aidan O’ Mahony.
The event also celebrated the transformational impact that Healthy Club volunteers have had on their communities and the GAA itself.
We are very lucky in Clonduff to have Geraldine McPolin lead our Healthy Club initiative this year and together with Community Officer Shauna Carvill have had some fantastic events including ‘Walk & Talk’ and the ‘Family Cycle Sunday’. Stay tuned for upcoming activities and initiatives for the WHOLE community!
Geraldine was accompanied to the Croke Park Conference by fellow G4MO player Louise Dickson and there have wonderful ideas for the upcoming season.
