HEARTBREAK FOR SENIOR CAMOGS!

Semi Final Clonduff 2-5 Liatroim 1-9

Clonduff relinquished their County, Provincial and All Ireland titles in Clonduff Park on Sunday 8th October to perennial rivals Liatroim in the the County Semi Final. They were down 1-5 to 0-3 at half time but clawed their way back into the game with great fighting spirit during the second half to draw level. Then the visitors fired over four unanswered points only for Clonduff to hit back with a goal but they just couldn’t find that levelling score.

During the week the team had suffered the loss of free-taker extraordinaire Paula O’Hagan with a season-ending arm injury.

Speedy recovery to Paula and to Fionnuala Carr (injured during the game), and to Cassie Fitzpatrick and Katie Morgan (out with long-term injuries).

Girls you will regroup and come back even stronger next year!

You have been amazing champions and role models! Everybody in Clonduff is extremely proud of your achievements!
