Juvenile Awards – There was great excitement in Clonduff Clubrooms on Friday 20th November at the Juvenile Awards. Guests of honour were Kieran ‘Star’ Donaghy the Kerry full forward, recently returned Aussie Rules player Martin Clarke and Down Camogie Star Karen Tinnelly. Upwards on 200 youngsters aged U10 -U16, their mentors, parents and family members packed into the club for the annual awards. Everyone was treated to an ‘indoor barbecue’ with Alistair and Guinevra McGilligan slaving over the grill and a great army of parents and mentors helping serve the food. The night was co-ordinated by newly elected Youth Officer Teresa Carr and ably assisted by members of the Youth Sub-committee and other club members. A huge thank you to Sean and Marie Milligan and Ciarán McGreevy for setting up the clubrooms and to Alistair and Guinevra for the cooking (apologies for not thanking them on the evening).
Congratulations to all the winners and good luck to all next year.
