The day began with a coaching event for all our underage teams under the guidance of past and present stars: Aimee Mackin, Blaithin Mackin , Aisling Cull, Anna Marie Magee, Michaela Downey and Aoibheann DowneyNiall Rafferty was on public speaker duty for the afternoon as well as doing referee for the G4MO match.
Niall thanked all the guest coaches who attended and each were presented with a token of appreciation.Almost 150 children attended the event and each were presented with a beautiful 20th LGFA Clonduff Boot bag filled with treat’s courtesy of the club in recognition of the 20th celebrations.
At the end of the presentation, the founder of Ladies Football in Clonduff – Onagh McClorey (Gribben) was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Onagh along with her father John Anthony were key people in starting ladies football in Clonduff and it’s has gone from strength to strength. Onagh is still going strongly with the Senior Ladies team
