A very young Clonduff team competed in the County LGFA Feile on Bank Holiday Monday 5th April, in Tullylish GAC. Feile is U15 competition but there were just four ‘older’ girls on the panel who are not members of the current U14 squad and they more than held their own – they reached the semi final and should have won! However, in the dying seconds of the game, after the ball left the Clonduff girl’s boot and landed in the back of the net, the referee decided to blow for a free in – a point was scored! Clonduff lost by a point!
Well done girls and management – the entire squad, with the exception of the four x U16s are all eligible for next year and many of them the following year too!
