These boys and girls and their parents (or responsible adult – that’s you Mark Bradley) are about to head off on a memorable journey. For most of the children, PI-P4 who attend the Sunday morning training in Clonduff Park, it is their first ever visit to Headquarters. The games on offer are real mouth-watering fare – Donegal v Armagh and Dublin v Monaghan. Children were asked to wear club colours though we didn’t object to the odd Monaghan or Armagh jersey! Excitement was a fever-pitch prior to departure.
The trip was the brainchild of U8 mentors Paul McConville and Shane Quinn – Paul is driving the bus! The deal was that the Club would cover the cost of the children’s tickets and travel provided they were accompanied by an adult for whom ‘Club Passes’ were obtained.
