Eight clubs from across the province received their Club Maith Award from Ulster GAA Vice Chairperson, Michael Geoghegan at an awards event prior to the AIB Ulster Club Senior Football Final.
Having achieved accreditation during in the past 12 months, the Club Maith award makes a clear, proven statement about the quality of these clubs right across five core areas of GAA club business: Governance; Community Engagement; Coaching & Games; Health and Wellbeing and Safeguarding of our Members.

Killyman St Mary’s – Bronze Award
Ulster GAA Vice Chairperson Michael Geoghegan commented:

There are many benefits to going through Club Maith for your club. Feedback from clubs who have gone through the process says they have been able to make huge improvements in their club without having to spend a lot of money, or having to completely overhaul how they conduct their business.
Clubs have reported that they have recruited new volunteers into the club as a result, and they’ve become a more relevant place for members of their communities both on and off the field.
