Official Down Camogie Primary School-Age Camogie Blitz
On Saturday morning 17th August 2024 Clonduff were one of the hosts for the Primary School Blitz. This was for P3/4 and P5/6.
What started off as a mild morning quickly turned when the heavens opened. However the rain didn’t deter these young girls and some great camogie was played.
Many thanks to our U16s and Minors who were referees and also pitch coordinators.
Thanks always to our parents for their support, more so when standing watching your child in the pouring rain with your encouraging voice.
Thanks to all the clubs who travelled. Keep up the great work. A great morning of Camogie.
The Camogie Blitz was only one of three simultaneous events on Clonduff Pitches – the Blitz was on the Top Pitch, U16 Football League Final on Back Pitch, Sean Cairns Memorial Coaching Day on Main Pitch; at lunchtime there was an U16 Camogie Challenge Game; later there was U10 Football training and then the Ladies LGFA Intermediate Championship!
