Niall Geoghegan, Principal St Pauls Primary School, who is himself an accomplished athlete, has established a Juvenile Running Club for after school Primary School children, and based in Clonduff park.
Mr Geoghegan puts the boys and girls through their paces starting with a baseline run to use this data at the end of the term. They also do some sprints looking at the importance of acceleration and deceleration. He tested their mentality with longer hills this week.
