Two-Time Star, Emily Bingham does it again!
Friday 21st March 2025 was a wonderful occasion, especially for Clonduff’s Minor/Senior LGFA player.
The All Stars are selected through two intense and ultra-competitive trials, starting with 170 players chosen from 23 schools across Ulster and eventually whittled down to the final 30—the cream of the crop! The banquet was fittingly held in Canavan’s (as in Peter the Great), Garvaghy, Tyrone. This is an incredible achievement for any athlete, but to receive this honor for the second year in a row is something any young Gaelic footballer could only dream of.
Emily has been an inspiration to many young players. The way she takes to the field is remarkable—she’s a driving force behind every ball, and her tackling ability is something special. Emily would immediately gain your attention in any game with her speed, agility, and work rate.
St Mark’s PE department, especially Clonduff Senior Player Lorraine McGinn is absolutely delighted to celebrate this achievement. From Year 8 right through to Year 14, Emily has created great memories wearing the Purple Jersey, which she will surely cherish. All this would not be possible without the drive and dedication of her family and her grassroots coaching and development in Clonduff, which allowed her progression through St. Mark’s to reach the elite level.
Some Achievement Emily! The future is indeed very bright for this young athlete!
