Clonduff Senior Camogie Panel 2008 were hoping to retain the County title which they won for the first time in 2007. Unfortunately that was not to be – the first encounter in the final held in Castlewellan went to a replay with Ballycran. There were a couple of key players carrying injuries for the replay in Portaferry three weeks later – this game went to extra time but Clonduff lost to the youthful Ards side by two points.
