The revamped 2013 Senior Football League kicked off on Friday 12th April – It is now a 16-team one-round league. Clonduff were away to newly promoted Warrenpoint in the first game – and the home side showed exactly why they reached the Ulster Intermediate Final last season. They were lively and rampant and led the Yellas 1-10 to 0-3 at half time. Clonduff improved somewhat in the second half but in truth the last minute penalty converted by Arthur McConville put a gloss on the scoreline for The Yellas. Final score Warrenpoint 1-16 Clonduff 1-9 – Things can only get better!
