Clonduff U11 A team retained their South Down League title in Burren on Sunday 31st October. Clonduff A won all their four games against Burren A, Shamrocks, Warrenpoint and Rostrevor. Thomas O’Hare kept a clean sheet for Clonduff not letting one goal past his capable hands. Clonduff and Shamrocks qualified for the Final playoff game which Clonduff won 0-7 to 0-2.
Clonduff have won this title four times in the last eight years proving that skill, dedication and team work make for a winning combination.

Following the Tournament presentation, the Clonduff mentors presented their ‘Players of the Year’ Awards to: Ben McConville, Lyndon Brown and Ross Carr. Also included is Ryan Woods (extreme right) who was presented with his U10 Award as he missed the Juvenile Presentation on Friday night.
The South Down U11 League was held over two weeks with three sections – this new format allowed for Clonduff to enter a second team. Clonduff B played the second section of their league in Clonduff Park playing against Burren B, Glassdrumman, Bosco, Attical and Drumgath. Clonduff B played with skill and passion but were unlucky in their games – it was their determined spirit that shone through to finish the season.
