Every Sunday morning Clonduff Park is a very busy place. But on Sunday 19th May 2019 it was a spectacular hive of activity between 10am and 12 noon – 22 teams were playing in the U6, U8 and U10 Hurling blitz hosted by Clonduff; the U12 LGFA and the U16 Boys were sharing a pitch for training; the U16 LGFA had a small area of the back pitch for training and before that the U10 LGFA trained from 9am to 10am.
Generally the U6, U8 and U10 Footballers are training and the U12 boys have a match but to accommodate the dual players they had all their activities on the Saturday – the U12 boys had played in the Gary Murray Tournament earlier on Saturday.
No doubt about it Clonduff Park is the ‘Hub of the Community’
