What a response to our appeal for volunteers and what a fantastic job was done!
Many thanks to the army of volunteers – men, women and children who arrived with tractors, diggers, strimmers, hedgecutters, mowers, power washers, etc or just their rubber gloves – to carry out the major cleanup operation on Clonduff Club premises Friday evening 22nd June and all day Saturday 23rd June in preparation for Féile Peile na nÓg 2018!
It was a great community effort and there was wonderful camaraderie among the many volunteers. The constant supply of tea/coffee/juice/water went down a treat on such a warm day as did the sandwiches and ice cream!
Even the Chairman got stuck in!
