Once again, the Clonduff community came together to keep the young people of Clonduff entertained during the Halloween Holidays 2019 and with great success!
A Multi Sports Camp (FunFit) ran on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in which up of 40 Primary School children converged on Clonduff playing fields paying scant heed to the bitter cold – they were so busy they didn’t feel it! On Wednesday afternoon the very popular ActiSport Lego Camp returned to Clonduff Club attracting over 60 youngsters.
Thursday was a big day of activity with the Sports Camp in the playing fields, with the Halloween Fun Day taking place in the afternoon in Clonduff Youth Club – Pumpkin Carving, Scary Monsters and Talking Reptiles, Face Painting, Tribal Drumming, Clay modelling, Lantern making then it was on to Clonduff Club for the Fancy Dress Disco for Primary School children, followed by the ‘Spooktacular’ Fireworks Display. On the third and final day it was Sports Camp, Halloween Drama Workshops and the Teenage Disco in INF Hall.
A lot of time and effort was expended in organising the Festival and a great deal of thanks and congratulations is due to the brains behind it all!
The winner of the ‘Free Place’ in the Social Media Competition for the Multi Sports Camp was Arleen McConville.
