Our U10 boys once again participated in the unique Moy Tournament on Saturday 14th September. It is unique in that goals don’t count and each club fields an A and B team. A teams play other A teams and B teams play other B teams – winners are decided by aggregating the scores of the two teams. Clonduff won their group and progressed through the knockout stages to the final with the B team taking the field first against a strong Dungannon Clarkes teams. They found the going tough and lost their game by 5 points. The A team started with a big hurdle to climb but they did it in style. They defeated the Tyrone side by 7 points to claim the title by a magnificent 2 points.
The day was brilliantly rounded off when Charlie Brown was declared the A team Player of the Tournament and young Oisin Logan was selected as the B team Player of the Tournament.
Great day lads and many thanks to your mentors Shereen, Patricia, Paul and Sean for their time and dedication – hard work often brings its reward!
