The U15 hurlers played the last of the round-robin Championship games on Sunday 10th September against St Patrick’s – both teams came into the game unbeaten in the championship so far.
Despite the heat, the game was played at a very fast pace. St Patrick’s started the game very strongly and Clonduff found themselves 5 points down at halftime on a score of 0-5 to 1-7. The second half started with the same intensity from both sides with great defensive and attacking hurling on display. Clonduff, however, dug deepest and managed to push on and get the win with a final scoreline of 2-12 to 2-10 in a very tight entertaining game.
Next up for the lads is a championship semi-final game at home to Portaferry
