The U15 hurlers faced Portaferry at home in the semifinal of the Championship on Sunday 17th September.
Clonduff settled well and made a quick start and went in at the break 2-10 to 0-2 up. However, Portaferry came out strong in the second half. There was some great defending on display from both sides although Clonduff matched Portaferry’s scoring throughout the rest of the game and held onto the lead from the first half to run out deserved winners on the day.
Clonduff will now face Saint Patrick’s in the Final on Sunday 1st October @ 1pm in Liatroim.
Lorcan got injured during the game and his team mates and mentors would like to wish him a speedy recovery.
