The Clonduff lads who did the double! On Sunday 20th October they won the Championship v Bredagh by one point after extra time in Ballela and the following week they had an 18 point win over the same opposition in the League final in Downpatrick.

At the post championship match meal in the clubrooms, Chairman Brendan Murray congratulated the boys and their mentors on their guts, determination and skill and spoke of how Hurling and Football can actually complement each other at this level. Captain Rhys Ward thanked his mentors, his team mates, the Club, parents and supporters. Manager John Murphy congratulated the boys not only on winning but also their dedications to training. He said that the measure of success was not always about winning but by how far they had come in the season. They were beaten twice in the league by Bredagh earlier in the season and the measure of success was by beating them today. Winning was a bonus!
