As part of the Summer Fun in Clonduff Park, around 150 boys and girls in the U7 and U9 age groups converged on the sun-soaked Clonduff Park on Saturday 17th July 2021 for an afternoon of fun-filled activities. Local DJ, Ronan Barry (DJ Rony) added to the wonderful atmosphere and kept the groups rotating around the various ‘stations’ every five minutes with a much-needed water break in between.
For the youngster the highlight of the afternoon was when they got their own back on the mentors/helpers during their relay race – soaking them with water!
Halfway through the programme there was an extended break for ice lollies and the afternoon finished with a healthy snack from Katie O’s
Many thanks to U7 and U9 lead coaches, Anthony Grimes and Damian Fearon respectively, for organising the ‘show’ and to the many helpers and parents who helped keep it ‘on the road’
