Clonduff U8 Footballers travelled to Rostrevor with high hopes of a good tournament and they were not disappointed. Good performances all round especially at the back with Darragh McAlinden making some excellent saves. The defence of Kayla Woods, Laurence Brannigan, Larry Lynch, Eddie Howlett and Patrick Cowan were powerful only conceding 0-7 in all 5 matches. The midfield of Padraig Clancy and Oisin Tumilty fought for every ball and set up some great scores. Up front, the forwards were in great form with Charlie Brown, Oran Wilson, Jake Morgan, Ciarán Brannigan, Eoghan Smith, Seanan Gribbin, Aaron Gribbin and Aaron Norris all taking great scores. The score in the Final v Burren was Clonduff 1-3 Burren 0-2. Well done lads, we knew you could do it!!
Joint captains, Padraig Clancy and Laurence Brannigan lifted the cup to great applause.
