The under 8 footballers attended Mayobridge tournament on Saturday 12th September 2009. They fielded 2 teams – Clonduff A and Clonduff B. The A team had an off day, but congratulations has to go to the B team on reaching their first final. They played with great passion and determination to overcome Newry Shamrocks in the semi-final. Each and everyone of them played out of their skins. They moved on to the final with great anticipation, but alas, it wasn’t to be, losing out to a strong Ballymartin team. A special word of thanks to their mentor, John Norris. Well done boys!
