Clonduff Club is very honoured to have been shortlisted for a President’s Award based on their recent Club Maith submission but to actually win such a prestigious award for Club Governance is indeed another great milestone in our illustrious history.
The Awards were presented at a Gala Dinner in The Hilton Hotel, Templepatrick on Saturday 8th November. Down were undoubtedly the big winners on the night picking up no fewer than nine awards – four of the the eleven awarded for Club Maith! Congratulations to the the winners and particularly the Down recipients – Kilcoo, Saval and Warrenpoint (also Club Maith), Ronan Barry (Referee), Down Camogie, Down Ladies Football and Tommy Joe Farrell (Services to Education) and Karen McMullan, Castlewellan for her double All Ireland in Camogie and Football.
It was indeed a Down night to be proud of!
